I was brought up and educated in France, which means I was fortunate, growing up on a rich and varied diet of French authors.
It is both a pleasure and a privilege to be able to share some of these with members of Chesterfield u3a.

The books are all in an English translation, and all meetings are in English.

After a short introduction giving a brief background of the times when the chosen book was written, we spend the meeting exchanging our reactions, sharing what we have enjoyed, what we might not like so much, and any questions we may still have.

A break for tea or coffee always forms part of the session!
