Organisation

Chesterfield u3a is a member of the National u3a movement and is run by volunteers in accordance with the Objects and Principles of the movement. It is an independently managed, self governing charitable organisation, within the framework of the Trust and is a registered charity. Number 1064504.

It is managed by an Executive Committee, elected annually at an Annual General Meeting (AGM) and supported by a number of Key Volunteers (who may also be Committee members).

Local special interest Groups are organised amongst the respective Group Members and coordinated by a Group Coordinator.

There are some useful documents available for all members and some in particular for Group Coordinators.
