Volunteers are Vital!

Volunteers give their time, abilities and enthusiasm but they also get a lot back in return –friendships, a sense of purpose, development of self-confidence and new skills. So, you could help our u3a and at the same time make new friends, gain skills and improve your well-being.

Volunteers are vital to the success of our u3a and volunteering opportunities are usually available.

We currently need:

Publicity and Promotions volunteers
To be part of a Communications / PR Team helping with leaflets and displays, promotional events, press releases etc, to raise awareness of Chesterfield u3a.

Travel Team volunteers
To assist in organising coach trips to places of interest, both local and further afield.
 
Other opportunities may also be available
In addition to the above specific roles, there may be other ways in which you could help out, so we also welcome approaches from people who want to help but have no particular role in mind. You may have recently retired and be looking for a way to keep practising your skills or you may be enjoying the benefits of u3a membership and want to give something back in return. Please, please, please step forward to volunteer – our u3a needs you.
