Chesterfield u3a is part of the UK-wide u3a movement of locally run self-interest groups that provide a wide range of opportunities to come together to live and experience activities, learn new things and laugh and have fun whilst doing so. Although u3a is for retired and semi-retired people there is no lower or upper age limit. We also have links with other local u3a groups.
Chesterfield u3a is organised solely by volunteers as are the individual groups.
With local open meetings and socials and some 80 groups there is something for everyone.
Members can also join in national on-line events.
